Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and DotRed Labs, which makes Baddy: the app for iPhone and Android and the website at baddyai.com. By creating an account or using Baddy you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Baddy.

1. Who can use Baddy

• You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you need the permission of a parent or guardian.
• One person per account. Keep your sign-in details to yourself: you are responsible for what happens in your account.
• Give us accurate information, and keep it up to date.

2. Your videos and reels

• You keep ownership of the videos you upload and the reels made from them.
• You give DotRed Labs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, process (including with the AI services listed in our Privacy Policy), edit and show your content, only to run Baddy for you and to show it to the people you choose. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
• You confirm that you have the right to upload each video and that the people in it agreed to be filmed and to have their video processed. For a child, that means a parent's or guardian's permission.

3. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive users. You must not upload, post or share anything that:

• is sexual or nude, or sexualises a minor in any way;
• harasses, bullies, threatens or humiliates anyone, or attacks people for who they are (hate speech);
• shows or encourages violence, self-harm or dangerous acts;
• shows people who did not agree to be filmed, or reveals someone's private information;
• is spam, a scam, misleading, or pretends to be someone else;
• infringes someone else's copyright or other rights; or
• is otherwise illegal.

You must not abuse or threaten other players, try to reach other people's accounts or private reels, try to break or overload Baddy, or copy the service with bots or scrapers.

How we enforce it

• Report: on any reel that is not yours, tap the menu (the three dots) and choose Report. The reel disappears from your feeds straight away.
• Block: from the same menu, block the player. Their reels disappear from your feeds and lists, and neither of you can follow the other. You can unblock them later in Settings.
• Every report reaches our team. We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these terms, and suspend or delete the accounts of people who post it or abuse others. A reel reported by several people is taken out of the public feeds until we have reviewed it.
• We may also remove content or suspend accounts without a report, if we find a breach of these terms.

4. AI features

• Baddy uses AI to find rallies, track the shuttle and players, pick highlights, read scores, and help you edit. AI can be wrong: rallies can be missed, tracking can drift, and scores, speeds and other stats are estimates. Do not rely on them for decisions that matter, such as officiating a match.
• Before your videos are sent to the AI services we use, Baddy asks for your permission. If you withdraw it, uploads and AI features stop until you allow them again.

5. Credits and memberships

Reels and some AI features are paid with credits. You buy credits in packs on baddyai.com; the payment is handled by Razorpay, and the price of a pack, and of each reel or feature in credits, is shown before you pay or use it. New accounts get free credits to start, once per email address or phone number. Credits have no cash value and cannot be sold or transferred. If a reel or a paid AI task fails, the credits it used are returned to your balance automatically. If you think you were charged by mistake, email hello@dotredlabs.com within 30 days of the payment and we will look into it; a payment we refund takes back the credits it bought. Purchases made inside the iPhone app, when offered, go through Apple under Apple's terms.

On baddyai.com, Baddy Pro costs ₹500 for a 30-day pass with 100 credits. BaddyStudio costs ₹2,000 for a 30-day pass with 500 credits total, editor access and all Pro benefits. Web passes use Razorpay and do not auto-renew. Additional credit packs remain available. Credits already granted remain in your balance after a membership expires; refunded payments reverse their bundled credits.

6. Ending your account

Apple memberships, when offered, renew each month until cancelled in your Apple Account settings. Baddy Pro includes watermark removal, shuttle tracking and 100 monthly credits; BaddyStudio includes all Pro benefits, editor access and 500 monthly credits total. The App Store shows the price before you subscribe. Deleting your Baddy account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Cancel it with Apple to stop future charges; account deletion remains available whether or not you have cancelled.

You can stop using Baddy and delete your account at any time: in the app (Settings, then Delete account) or on the web at baddyai.com/account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people at risk.

7. The service

• We work to keep Baddy running well, but it may change, contain errors, or be unavailable at times. We may add, change or remove features.
• Baddy is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond those in these terms.
• To the extent the law allows, DotRed Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us for Baddy in the 12 months before the claim.
• Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

8. If you use the iPhone app

These terms are between you and DotRed Labs, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no duty to provide maintenance or support for it, and is not responsible for any claim about the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and change the date at the top, and tell you in the app if a change is significant. If you keep using Baddy after a change, the new terms apply.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes about them go to the courts of India.
